Hidden Temples of Crestonia

We are looking for all-star help with many exciting projects on our four locations (that we call “playgrounds”) across the country. We think you will end up wanting to be a part of all of them, and we look forward to sharing our world with fellow seekers of wisdom and lovers of abundant living. All locations are magical and full of life, art, music, love & prosperity.

You can choose to play as a volunteer or pay to stay to enjoy these incredible spaces overflowing with the heart, soul, and dreams (not to mention sweat, tears, and dedication) of many who voyaged through.

Our multipurpose locations have been created through an eclectic collaboration of creative individuals participating in the Repurposed Revolution, where we turn trash into treasure through repurposed materials and creative reuse. Our spaces include: hostels, artist residency lofts, gallery spaces, glamping/camping sites, event venues for weddings, gatherings, and retreats, marketplaces, creative production facilities for artists, musicians, and filmmakers, and grounds for farming.

We LOVE hosting people from all over the world and have extensive experience with voluntourism. Behka, the founder has traveled around the world in the 90s as a volunteer long before Workaway. She has nurtured a worldwide multicultural community of kindred folks creating a thriving, purpose-driven, gift-based network by reimagining life as we know it! The GN is a multicultural ministry 508(1) a(c) on a mission to inspire health & abundance through wellness, creative expression, and earth stewardship.

As a playing patron for the gift exchange, you will be receiving lodging for your 25-hr/weekly contribution. You’ll have to be flexible with getting your own meals. We stock up on general items for the pantry. There is a communal kitchen available for your use with space to store your own food. We have a food bank calendar for those who may not have readily available funds for food. We’ll have produce available from the grounds starting next year.

For a better response time and acceptance, please include a good number to reach you and tell us how you’d like to be involved and if you are willing to keep spaces clean and orderly. We believe cleanliness is next to godliness. We absolutely love to host but do not enjoy having to clean up after others, so we need a commitment from everyone to leave the community spaces better than received at all times! Stewardship of our spaces is one of our core values. We’d also love to know whether you’re willing to go above and beyond to be part of the bigger picture!
