It is a constantly evolving model used as a teaching resource by a number of university and school groups as well as by professional organisations and municipalities worldwide.

We believe the ecovillage model is an inspiring and viable solution to the eradication of poverty and degradation of the environment. It combines a supportive social-cultural environment with a low-impact lifestyle. Our education programmes work to give people the tools for creating sustainable design and applying permaculture principles.
