About.
KraftHaus is a heritage craft research lab & regenerative farm situated in a little Transylvanian Saxon village in the heart of Transylvania. Our interactive museum provides fully functional heritage tools as old as 1700s (textile, wood, iron & stone) and wisdom to work with while restoring old buildings, farming the garden, making herbal medicine, around the world fusion or saxon heritage and artistic performance cooking or for creating sustainable contemporary art and design. Depending on the season and time of the year, we have different works and activities around the house, farm, buildings, crafts, design, festival, so please ask us what is currently in line!
