Finca Morpho is a regenerative education, experimental permaculture intentional community (RE:EPIC!) in Costa Rica on 4.2 hectares of surf beach meets jungle farm near the Osa Peninsula's point of Cabo Matapalo on the Golfo Dulce.

Here we are morphing ourselves and thus the world through inner and outer work as a living model of sustainability, creativity, freedom, and authenticity, with our primary goals being peace of heart and open minds to all ideas and new ways of life.

Finca Morpho has two distinct seasons, community season and introspective season. Community season focuses on the shared experience with many optional activities that include permaculture, yoga, meditation, dancing, singing, authentic relating, crafting, and more.  We have a few required activities, including weekly 'MOOP' and Recycling days and communal meal participation. There are plenty of people and activities to fill your time and find new and old passions. This season runs from April to August.

Introspective season is designed to focus on personal growth by maximizing free time for self-care and development. There are little to no activities scheduled, and no guaranteed communal meals. Anyone can offer meals or activities but they are neither frequent or consistent. Plenty of projects are going on however, and work traders may come to the farm to accomplish various planned tasks. This season runs from September to February.

On the farm we are beginning and continuing the long journey of self awareness. This leads us to many talking sticks and community activities to build bridges and reinforce connections. Being surrounded by an indescribable primal energy from the rain-forest and the ocean has inspired us to "Be the change we wish to see in the world" - Mahatma Gandhi. By using bio-dynamic regenerative agriculture we are creating a system that will continue to make top soil and sequester carbon for years to come. Plant and animal care for us is treating all plants and animals the way most people treat their house pets, with lots of love, attention, activities, and healthy food. We are striving towards a sustainable and self-sufficient model for others to learn from that shows visitors how they can add some of these practices into their lives with little to no work involved.
