About.
A community workspace for Fresno's hackers, crafters, makers, builders, DIYers, and artists.
Root Access Hackerspace is a community workspace that caters to technology makers in Fresno, CA. It's a way for the community to pool and share resources that might be too much for an individual to purchase, house, or maintain.
Our space currently includes 3D printers, a laser cutter, electronics and soldering stations, wood shop (including a drill press, table saw, miter saw, band saw, wood lathe, planer, jointer, and a whole lot more), and a crafting studio (including swing machines, Cricut vinyl/paper cutter, and tools for knitting, crocheting, jewelry making, and clay modeling).
While our workspace is for members, we also run a small retail store to provide access to electronics hardware to the Fresno tech community without the hassle of buying online and waiting for shipping. Our store is stocked with Raspberry Pi's, Arduinos, and other microcontrollers, LEDs, motors, sensors, and more.
