About.

Retreat and eco-travel destination conceived as an Extended Family Permaculture farm. Short term and long term stays in at Tadpole Manor. Located in a unincorporated settlement of families in a Pacific Northwest Coastal Rainforest that includes a range up to 20 miles from Tadpole Manor.   Sacred economy experiment within some of the residents of our local towns.  Half way between the city of Eugene and coastal city of Florence in a fertile valley of farms, artists, water shed restoration, multi generational families and activists.

At Tadpole Manor I  coined a word: Farmily to describe our chosen family/farm mate homelife.  We practice Permaculture in all areas of our lives. We offer teachings including alternative energy and eco-friendly building, food preservation, self-guided retreats, orchard care, self-care, and spiritual  growth.
