About.
Hi! Our names are Anna and Cole, and we are building a Large Cob Home in beautiful Mendocino Northern California. We are half way through the project and are going into the phases for finishing work. This includes some building and sculpting with Cob, plastering, earthen floor, Carpentry, Plumbing and electrical. We need help in phases of the construction and will be hosting volunteers for different phases of the project.
This project takes place on a beautiful property in the country. We live on a fruit orchard that hosts more than 15 different types of fruit. There is unlimited hiking all around, and wild horses who roam our property and neighboring properties. We take weekend trips on local adventures, because we live near the Majestic Redwood forests and the ocean. There is lots of exploring to do in Ukiah, our town, which is home to many different types of community events. We live outside off grid, so its definitely rustic, but so fun! We made sure to make our outdoor home cozy and home like for ourselves and for our guests. we have a lot of fun enjoying nature and exploring the wild here. We practice ancestral skills and also like to preserve the fruit from the orchard. It is a ton of fun here, lots to learn, lots of ways to grow outside of your comfort zone and to do so in a safe and accepting environment! We are excited to host people from all walks of life, Let us know if you'd like to come learn with us!
