About.
The Expedition Education Institute (EEI) leads traveling college-level semesters that allow you to immerse yourself in the ecology, culture, and landscape in one of America's bioregions. Living fully outdoors and meeting with individuals and organizations working to create a sustainable future, you’ll dive deeply into the issues that confront us, with significant opportunities to develop your leadership skills and investigate your passions and gifts. Every semester's journey allows you to forge deep connections with the natural world, to the members of your traveling learning community, and to your own core values and enthusiasms.
Each semester is influenced by its region and theme: Ecology, Economy, & Community in the PNW; Resilience & Renewal in the Desert Southwest; Sustainable Culture & Agriculture in California. This is not a tour but rather an intentional learning community deeply engaged in learning and transformation.
College credit optional from Marlboro College.
