About.
Johñe is a Permaculture Demostrative center located in Central Mexico, in state of Hidalgo, 3 hours far from mexico city. Is a very peculiar place, located in the heart of the mezquital valley, a semi-desertic climate that has hotsprings and caves as touristic spots. The place is offgrid, there is no power, internet or services like sewage. The climate is challenging but very interesting, it teaches you a lot about biodiversity and how to improve soil.
We mainly work with permaculture design in the centre but also have a social project, a Non profit organization so we work around the country in different communities, we have our headquarters in pachuca city, the capital city of Hidalgo, which is very close to forests and natural parks and reserves. We work all around doing projects with communities, sharing and learning the amazing experience that a living in a permacultural way teaches, we also have the chance to be in a network with many organizations and projects aroud the country, so your experiecie would be very complete and amazing
