About.
Pulau Macan is a small ecolodge that spans across two tiny islands in the middle of the Java Sea, only 2 hours by boat from Jakarta. We feature 12 rooms / sea-front huts and a few tents, constructed mainly out of natural materials (with extensive use of driftwood). Our food is mainly vegetarian, our reefs are gorgeous and healthy, our team is super friendly and helpful. We run on solar energy, love our eco soaps, and love hosting international and local guests. We also regularly host yoga and permaculture courses, and have a focus on supporting local livelihoods.
