The Honduras Child Alliance is a diverse and collaborative, volunteer-based group, collectively working to make life better for impoverished children in El Porvenir, Honduras.

We offer volunteer-powered programs in 3 locations around the community. The main program focuses on academic enrichment in English and Spanish literacy and includes computer instruction, art, games, science, sports and more!

The children are in grades 1-6 and attend as a supplement to the public schools. There are also free English and computer classes for teens and two levels of English for adults.  Volunteers also assist with dental and medical teams and light construction projects.

Sitting next to the Caribbean Sea, our community of El Porvenir is a welcoming small town with friendly people and beautiful scenery. While poverty affects the majority of the residents, the community is actively working toward positive change.
