About.
Located on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, The Sanctuary is a unique retreat space created to support the return of the temple arts.
Constructed with the intention to be a harmonious, sacred container for workshops, rituals and community celebrations, The Sanctuary provides comfort and safety for deep emotional and transformational processes.
Founded in 2012, the Sanctuary is an ideal place for visiting facilitators to host their own events and workshops or for private individuals looking for a special place to stay and enjoy Lake Atitlan. It is also the base for Araminta’s own workshops and private sessions when she is in residence.
This relaxing space has blissful views of the lake and volcanoes, whilst curtains provide an intimate feel so participants can be fully present with their journey.
The Sanctuary provides access to a 6-person Mayan temescal/sauna with shower and bathroom. Kitchen and catering options are also available.
A wide range of events are held throughout the year. Those seeking private sessions are also welcome.
