About.

Ancestral agricultural practices such as the conservation of seeds have been lost due the recommended cultivation techniques of hybrid seeds.

Currently Huerta A lo Verde is dedicated to the production of Andean crops in danger of disappearing with the purpose of rescuing its seeds. We also organize urban and rural garden courses to explain these problematics. Our main purpose is to implement an educational project to revalue the importance of the conservation of seeds. We want to build ecological infrastructure to receive visitors and volunteers. Therefore we need volunteers who know about bio-construction to continue the project. In return we want to share the knowledge of Andean crops and agroecology.
