Svanholm Gods

Svanholm Gods lies in scenic surroundings in Horns Herred, 55 km from Copenhagen.

Svanholm's 415 ha is spread over 230 hectares of farmland, approx. 130 ha forest and approx. 55 ha. lakes, meadows, buildings and parks. Today, the property is driven exclusively according to ecological principles.

In 1978, Swanholm became a major collective, and today the estate is home to about 85 adults and 56 children + a varying number of guests. We are a mixed group of several nationalities, skilled, unskilled, middle school, academics and retirees.

Formally, the estate is owned by the Jarnved Commitment Company, in which the members of the collections are all members of the committee and, alternatively, members of the Board. In fact, all major decisions are taken at the collective meeting.
