We are a local Costa Rican family living on a small farm which we seek to make it organic. We are in the process of creating a situation of sustainable living using permaculture techniques, forest protection around us, and participating in our local economy.
10 acres are devoted to livestock, free of chemicals that proves it works agroforestry and permaculture. We devoted two acres to a family ecotourism project that seeks to provide sustainable education for future generations.
Our project is starting but we have many things to do, we work with our own resources to achieve each of the goals we seek.
We are now transforming 2 hectares of the 10 we have in ecotourism, is a project friendly to the environment and with a cultural value for future generations, based on environmental sustainability.
Water is abundant here, thanks to the abundant rain and waterfalls of the property besides the river of blue color just 800 meters from our property is located. The soil is diverse but rich in minerals is also quite acidic.
In recent years, we are recovering the ground by manually adjusting till the soil and fertilization with rich compost produced in situ, including companion plants, and we do a mixture of microorganisms collected from the forest. This is a family ranch in the sustainable operation and regeneration of life. In addition to providing a quiet place that makes connecting with nature, proximity to the Tenorio Volcano National Park 18.402.51 acres of natural flora and fauna. We strive to inspire every volunteer to relax, enjoy and explore the ways in which you can incorporate the concept of sustainability in their own lives.

In addition the experiences of rural tourism in just outside the farm, combined with the friendly practices with the environment, extend the landscape to better understand the main odjetivo of our project.
While working with us you will have multiple field experiences and you can visit many attractions in the area, cheap and close around the farm.
