About.
Vago’s Place is a small, organic, experimental family farm. Located in the lowlands caribbean tropics of Costa Rica, we grow a selection of plants abundant in our climate.
We strive to be a center for community members and visitors to have access to local, healthy, high-quality products, experience healing and learn to live an abundant life whilst respecting and loving the earth, other beings, our communities and our own bodies.
The houses on the farm are built mostly with local materials harvested from the farm. The houses rely fully on rainwater for all uses.
We make health and food products including teas, toothpaste, house cleaning products, tinctures and more. Amanda has extensive knowledge on medicinal plants and traditional healing modalities. Memo is a great surfer and teacher.
You may enjoy a half-day tour, experience a healing retreat or an educational activity, join us for lunch, rent a room or house on the farm, or surf with us on a nearby beach.
