We are looking for software engineers and graphic designers, but also for individuals who are versed in permaculture, natural building, herbalism and so on.

We are open to volunteers at a small fee, to any individuals who are interested in contritubing their time to our projects. We ask for a minimum stay of 6 weeks with the hope of a longer commitment. In the interest of building a community, volunteers who are attracted and inspired by our project do have the option of becoming permenant memebers, which can be discussed with our core membrane.

About the property, this 14Ha off-grid property is bordered by two rivers and a 240Ha protected reserve. We are located between Lake Arenal, Arenal Volcano and Tenorio National Park. It’s a beautiful and lush part of Alajuela, close to San Rafael de Guatuso and about 10 km from Lake Arenal.

The main space consists of a 300m2 Common Building — containing a large open-aired lounge area, industrial-size kitchen, dining area, a work space, and a mezzanine. The sleeping quarters (still under the last phase of construction) offers two dorms and five private rooms which could house up to 40 people. Our 80m2 octagonal movement space faces westwards towards the Tenorio volcano, a favourite spot amongst the community members to marvel at the sunset, and to pratice yoga, aerial silks, meditation, workouts, etc.
