Excellent tour on sustainable practices in the tropics.
an 1.5 hour fun tour teaching how to make your own electricity,run cars on biofuels,produce food and products in the caribbeans,indigenoius cosmovision and medicine,alternative building and much more.
THE TOUR INCLUDES A SNACK,BEVERAGE AND A MINI WORKSHOP ON FRUIT WINE AND BRANDY MAKING.

We pick you up from the location at 9am.

We drive to the High Talamanca Reserve (45 mins). During this time we give you an introduction, history and context. We are one of the only groups in the country able to access this region.

Once we are in the Reserve we visit the leader of the Awapa Association (Ethno Botanical Doctor or Shaman) in his cosmic dome house called Usuri. The Shaman will give us an introduction into BriBri mythology and indigenous cosmos vision.

We will hike to the top of the Volio waterfall (only possible with guide and permit) and enjoy a swim or dip in the refreshing spring.
