Falun is a reserve located between the villages of Alban and Sasaima, an hour and a half from Bogota. More than 38 years ago, Sven Zethelius (a Colombian chemist, nature lover) started a process to recover a small piece of one of the world's most beautiful ecosystems, the Andean Forest. At this moment the reserve has a good sample of forest that together with important water sources (rivers, waterfall, lakes and water eyes) generate a space of relaxation, fun, learning and contact to the nature in a unique way.
