About.

Hello.  We are Origen EcoResort, a dedicated retreat and event center.  We are home to Origen Cacao, an organic bean to bar chocolate factory.

Host your own retreat here, or join us in one of our Sacred Medicine retreats. 

In addition to the main lodge we have 5 glamping cabins, hosting a total of 24 people in shared accommodations.  

We have a outdoor event space surrounded by giant rocks and located by the river, perfect for yoga and other classes, as well as medicine ceremonies.  Nearby you'll find compostable toilets, two outdoor showers, a fire circle, a massage therapy space, outdoor bathtub with hot water and herbal plants for healing.  

We have our own vegetable garden and there are dozens of fruit trees on our land, providing fresh organic food for your retreat.

We offer interships to learn about chocolate making, permaculture, event management or sacred medicine.

Minimum stay is 30 days and there is a requirement of 5 hours of work a day.

Conversational spanish is necessary.

Chocolate factory tour and tasting.

Join us for a 2 and half hour tour of our chocolate factory to learn all about bean to bar chocolate making.
