About.

We manage a conservation area that spans 236 acres of wet sclerophyll forest, including 8km of walking trails, forest dams for swimming on hot days, a freshwater spring and a few seasonal creeks.

Who are we? Nicola and Roger have spent the last fifteen years living in spiritual communities, both in Australia and Vanuatu, and came to this land with the dream of building a sanctuary of peace in the heart of nature. We are a homeschooling family, raising our daughters Rosie (7) and Lila (1) to live mindfully and joyfully in wild places.

We enshrine meditation and mindful, sustainable living as part of our family life. As our aim is to grow a spiritual community encompassing a yurt, glamping tents, a large meditation hall and flourishing food gardens, we are seeking to share the practice of conscious living and relating with anyone who comes to help us along the way.

Helpers will be staying in 'The Hippie Shack,' a rustic wooden cabin dating back to the early 1980s that we restored ourselves on the property; it has electricity, running water, Wi-Fi signal, an outdoor yoga platform and outdoor shower. We also welcome travellers who are living in their vans!
