Yoga & Dance Easter is the first festival of the Ängsbacka season.

It is an opportunity for us to welcome the Light and the change of the seasons together – in sacredness and ceremony.

The festival offers a rich variety of Yoga, Dance, Meditation, Music and many more inspiring and nurturing workshops.

You are welcome whether you are a seasoned yogi or a beginner, whether you dance every day or almost never.

Welcome to try something different and connect with like minded new friends. Welcome to experience the magnificence of the awakening forest, to enjoy delicious vegetarian food cooked with love and care. Welcome to move and be moved.



The journey starts on Maundy Thursday with Check-In (from 15:00), welcome workshops (from 17:00) and dinner (18:30).

In the welcome meeting we meet each other, the musicians and workshop leaders, share some practical information and find our sharing group.

We open the space of ceremony, share the intention of the festival and receive taste of what the weekend has to offer. After the ceremony you can choose between dancing loose to magical music in the upper barn, hanging in the café, taking a sauna, meet old friends or get new ones.

On Good Friday we dive into the program and it will be a day filled with yoga, dance, lectures and other workshops. The evening ends with Bhajans in a way you haven’t experienced before.

On Easter Eve Saturday after the Morning Meeting we enter silence for the day. The silence is for us to get a chance to land in ourselves and to scourge all the noise around us that usually takes our attention. In silence, the answers and sometimes even the questions come. It will be a day of reflection and deep presence.

Easter Day Sunday we will end our silence with a beautiful ceremony that will begin the celebration the rest of the day and evening. After the silence you will be captivated by all the beauty that is available around you and maybe you will experience the reality in a new way.

On Easter Whit Monday, the last day of the festival we gather again to share with each other the flowers and fruits of our time together. All framed by music, presence and togetherness.
