About.
~Dream of an Ancient Future~
Cosmic Convergence is an annual gathering incorporating art, music, education for conscious living, and Mayan culture & traditions. It is a convergence of past, present, and future, envisioning the new paradigm of a technological-tribal society that is becoming more tangible each day.
The objective is to expose the attendees to ancestral and post-industrial ways of living in order to provoke a shift in consciousness to rethink what lifestyles are possible in post-2012 reality. The gathering forms part of an ongoing international tribal revival.
The event is 100% non-profit and all proceeds go towards supporting social projects on Lake Atitlan, where we work with indigenous communities to grow a greener future.

Getting here.
We recommend taking a shuttle at any of the tour companies that will take you to the island of Flores, Guatemala (approx . 6 hours). On the island of Flores Pullman take a night bus to Guatemala City . And in the city take another bus to Lake Atitlan . Being on the lake Atilan ; take a boat to Santiago Atitlan .
Palenque is very close to San Cristobal de Las Casas and San Cristobal Festival . So we suggest more traveling to San Cristobal de Palenque and then to Lake Atitlan . Instead of traveling from Palenque to the island of Flores (Guatemala) .
From Cancun to Palenque , approx. 12-13 hours .
Palenque to Flores ( Guatemala ), approx. 6-7 hours.
Flores Island to Guatemala City , approx. 8-9 hours.
Guatemala City to Lake Atitlan , approx. 3 hours.
Palenque to San Cristobal de las Casas, approx. 6-7 hours.
San Cristobal de las Casas to Lake Atitlan (Panajachel), approx. 7-8 hours.
