This is a direct immersion into the lifestyle and cultural practices of Kichwa people living in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Length: 2 weeks
Group Size: 8 people. Accommodation (rustic cabaña with toilet and shower) and cooked meals are provided onsite.
This is the outcome of a unique invitation offered by the founders of Wayra Wasi to visit the Amazon rainforest directly and partake in Kichwa lifestyle. Hosted in the densely vegetated territory Pastaza, Ecuador, participants will be exposed to topics ranging from traditional plant medicine, pottery making, morning guayusa ritual, harvesting,yuca and fermenting it to produce chicha. These hosts are keen to facilitate the process of intercultural exchange and share certain aspects of their lifestyle with the international community.
