About.
Located on The Farm, an intentional community that was founded in 1971, the Ecovillage Training Center assists in transition towards a sustainable society by instruction in meeting basic needs for food, shelter, energy, fuel, gainful employment, and community process and progress. We are a whole systems immersion experience of Ecovillage living, together with classes of instruction, access to information, tools and resources, and on-site and off-site consulting and outreach experiences.

Volunteer Camping
Volunteers are expected to work a minimum of 4 hours per day and we ask for an impact fee of $5 per day.
We offer tent platforms as well as flat grassy spaces for camping. All volunteers have access to our indoor bathrooms and showers, outdoor composting bathrooms, outdoor solar showers, our communal kitchen with fridge & cooking space, common areas, and WiFi. We even have shelves of communal food that volunteers are welcome to!
The Ecovillage Training Center is based within The Farm Community, a historical intentional community of roughly 200 people - so this is a great opportunity to not only experience life in an Ecovillage, but in a successful Intentional Community as well! The Farm offers a grocery store, swimming hole, disc golf course, and many beautiful hiking trails.
