About.

We are an 80-acre research, demonstration, education, advocacy and community-organizing center and intentional community. OAEC offers 3 annual Permaculture Design courses as well as School Garden Teacher Trainings, a place to hold organizational retreats for social and environmental groups and networks, public agencies and foundations.

You can visit OAEC by taking one of our courses, renting OAEC for your organizational retreat, visiting our Organic Nursery, taking a tour, enjoying a performance at our North Garden Stage, or by joining us for Wednesday Garden Volunteer Day.
