The Kumukoa House is a living/ learning center adjacent to the University of Hawaii at Hilo. The house hosts students as well as guests from all over the world who have an interest in sustainability, permaculture, yoga, art, community, social justice, equality, harmony, music, food, and making the world a better place. All residents and guests agree to work in the yard and have access to the bounty of the yard. Currently we have over 60 fruit trees, a fish pond, honey bees, chickens, worms, multiple vegetable beds, water catchment, and compost facilities. If you feel called come stay with us.
