About.
Headwaters is an ecovillage located in Cabot, Vermont. There are four families living here now, one building a house now, and three more home sites available. We have a large community garden, an earthship greenhouse, a small orchard, and we keep chickens and ducks.
We are committed to ecological living and also to social justice - the community is designed to be permanently affordable, so we can maintain a community that supports its members.
Headwaters offers classes in sustainable building techniques, permaculture, new economics, community development, and lifestyle changes and choices.
