About.
Earthen Heart has been evolving since 2001, as an initiative to convert a single family homestead into a community homestead. As such it is an act based in a specific rural setting of Southwest Michigan, and connected with global efforts of similar healing and eco-shifting principles.

Work-Stay at Earthen Heart
During the warmer months there are many places you can stay outside: pop-up trailer, tent sites, etc. You are asked to give 2-4 hours of input into the community in exchange for a place to stay. This is very helpful around big harvest times (e.e.g late July/August for Blueberries). The more you put in, the more you get in return. We have all the amenities in terms of wi-fi, showers, etc. in our community space in the main house and some amenities in the outbuildings as well.
