About.
Mai Niti is a traditional Shipibo plant medicine and ayahuasca retreat center based in a native community north of Pucallpa in Peru.
Ayahuasca ceremonies at Mai Niti are held by adept Shipibo healers: Maestro Leonardo and Maestra Lucila. Being guided by compassion, the healers are dedicated entirely to the path of curanderismo, and to the goal of helping heal and liberate all those who walk through the doors of Mai Niti.
The center is owned and run by the healers Leonardo and Lucila Inuma, who have been practicing curanderismo and working with the plants for many years, and together have over 70 years experience, and a profound depth of ancestral wisdom and understanding with respect to the plants and healing. The aim of the curanderos at Mai Niti is to help all those who come here to heal and awaken to their true nature and true potential as happy, healthy and free beings .
