Amaru Mayu Ecological Voluntary Conservation Reserve - Manu National Park and Biosphere Reserve, has 655 hectares of tropical mountain forest.
It is a private area that contributing to preserving the rich biodiversity that exist doing conservation work involving sustainable management of these forests as working activism in 4 fronts of action: Physical environmental, legal, political, strategies of development for social participation and financial economics.
Through activities that contribute to preserving the environmental balance as; restoration of degraded area, reforestation with endemic plants, reintroduction of wildlife, help in the wildlife refuge, cataloging of flora and medicinal plants, development of environmental workshops in villages and communities, permaculture/organic farming, ecotourism, volunteer program ( cultural interchange ), and traditional medicine
