About.
Goals: building bridges between different cultures and sub-groups through interaction and cultural interchange.
Volunteers will get opportunities to teach different skills to the local community and participate in various aspects of daily life: (social, educational, economic, political) and thus help improve the overall conditions that are at the moment at one of the most vulnerable points in history. The traditional Bedouin life is under threat of being wiped out by the imposed progress from both sides of the wall and needs urgent and long-term backup.
The Bedouin communities around Jerusalem right now are in need of all support they can get and even the smallest effort can bring enormous relief. We are calling on anyone wishing to participate and share their time and skills to join in and become a part of this growing movement!
Some of the proposed activities the volunteers will be participating in:
Helping teach the youth, women, and children their native language, culture, and customs
Organizing activities for women and children according to their preferences
Participating in all community events
Helping to develop projects addressing local needs
Being part of the tours organized at the community
Possibility of learning Arabic for those interested
And, of course, enjoying delicious local meals offered for a symbolic fee!
Meet new friends, see the unseen, help the oppressed Bedouin communities!
There's something for every volunteer, make your own schedule

Volunteer Stay
The children : teaching languages (any language you speak), prepare some activities with and for them (sport, painting, drawing, music, cinema, drama, ...); teaching them how to play a musical instrument, organize sport training (boxing, self-defense, foot, basket, yoga...). If you a skill in something; you can teach them!
The goal is not make the children happy, to open their mind to the world by discovering new things and preparing them to face the life.
The women : in a project of the empowerment of women; we need volunteers to teach them languages (any language you speak but English in preference), help them to sew Bedouin traditional clothes and accessories, speak with them about your country, your culture or anything you would like to share.
The tourists : welcoming the tourists when they come to visit us (check in, check out). Help to clean the tent, bathroom and toilets when they leave.
Improve our land : help to clean the mountain, help with the garden. Helping with the goats.
