About.
Our aim in the first place is to share, preserve and disseminate the traditional knowledge of the ancestral Amazonian medicines and to integrate other holistic practices that add value to the experience of our guests. Furthermore, our mission is to blend the traditional medicine with a proactive environmental approach by developing a sustainable community through environmental ressources and permaculture.
Currently we are involved in building an eco-lodge that will be self-sustainable through energy resources and water, as well as food supplies through growing organic food and botanical gardens to protect the various medicinal plants whose knowledge and tradition is currently endangered. We are constantly exploring different possibilities for natural constructions that create the link betwen comfort and ecology inspired by traditional buildings of the area (organic building structures such as mud and wood buildings and tambos, palm leaf roofing) and modern constructions while respecting the environment, in order to propose a simple, viable and healthy lifestyle for living more in harmony with ourselves and our environment.
