We are the hosts of Lukeko Gaun. Lukeko Gaun is a farm and a community center for art and farming located in the serene and calm region of Lalitpur district, which is approximately 2 hours drive away from Kathmandu.

We offer new creative opportunities for artists, travelers, farming lovers or any other retreat seekers while engaging them in the unique culture of the community. While you help us at our center, you can also hang out and chat with the locals who are really enthusiastic to share their local culture, music and lifestyle. This is an amazing opportunity for volunteers to get a closer look of the Nepal.

At our farm house and center, you will find yourself surrounded by lush green hills as you enjoy simple and organic food, theater art residencies, guided yoga and meditation and beautiful sceneries all around. You can also hike around the village, learn Nepali culinary, or help in the local farms. We also have hot showers available. We provide hostel/dormitory rooms with all basic necessities, inclusive of simple meals. (Snacks and drinks can be purchased by the guests on their own account.)

Working hours :
Flexible. Work in farm, huts and cottage building, Schools, local youth club, goat farming, painting and other arts and crafts, tree plantation and other creative and farm works.
Let us belong to the mother earth. May we grow together with nature.
