About.
At Dana Village, we give workshops and retreats about holistic health, agriculture, yoga, acroyoga and meditation. With the goal of creating an ever-expanding society where everyone can feel at home, we create with sustainability and humility in mind.
Dana Village was founded in May 2016 by Minori Ogawa. It is located in an old building which used to be an elementary school, in Nishiaizu Town in Fukushima, Japan.
“Dana” is derived from the Sanskrit word दान, which means ‘gift’. Dana Village is a place to realise and share your own gifts, as well as receive those that were already gifted to us.
