The Ture Nirvane Cooperative Company, founded in 1999, which manages our ecotourism and oversees the running of courses, workshops and other educational activities.

The resident community, made up of around 20 members, all living and sharing life in the village. Torri Superiore is situated between the Alps and the Mediterranean in western Liguria, northern Italy. Several languages are spoken here including Italian, German, English, Dutch and French. Responsible travellers who visit us will find that Torri provides ideal holiday accommodation and surroundings in which to relax, explore, enjoy and learn more about community living.

Residents of the community look after all the day-to-day activities that take place at Torri: organising events, celebrations, parties and art activities, managing the restoration of the ecovillage, and developing our organic farming and permaculture programmes (at the moment this includes the small scale production of olive oil, vegetables and fruit for self-consumption, housing chickens and donkeys, and bee-keeping.
