Tuq'tu'quilal es un centro de impacto recién nacido en su estado pionero, con infraestructura muy basica. Abrimos nuestras puertas en enero de 2016, y trabajamos con comunidades Mayas. Tuq'tu'quilal significa "paz" en Keq'chi Maya, y va servir como centro educativa de la vida regenerativa que transforma individuos y comunidades proveyendo educación y modelos replicables de permacultura, tecnologia apropriada, y liderazgo de juventud.  Lanquin es un pueblo Maya Keq'chi con bellezas naturales espectaculares como las cascadas Semuc Champey, piscinas de calle, y cuevas subterráneas.

The Impact center is situated on stunningly beautiful land. We have property on the river, forest and great views. We have solar hot showers and dry toilets with landscape views. You will stay in a bamboo shelter with a tent insides, amazing views from your tent and all the basics that you will need for a jungle stay.
We need help building cabanas, finishing an ecohome and general assistance with terraces and other garden projects.
We are looking for volunteers with experience whom need little management and can add some personal knowledge to the project. We need people who won't attempt to impose their culture on that of the local culture, and have the empathy to tred gently and observe and support.

We have just opened a small cafecito, and would like some help with assiting the the locally family with it's management. This would help them understand the international standards necessary for running a small cafe. We would like that this person could also help a little in the food garden, to help with organising ingredients for the kitchen. Experience in a professional kitchen is more important than the gardening part. We need people with volunteer experience that need little management and are looking to learn form the local Maya culture.
