About.
PagoPago is a volunteer environmental organization whose goal is sustainable development. We are committed to sustainable farming, restoring of cultural traditions, growing fruit trees and participating in the restoration of forest ecosystems affected by loss of water and subsequent bark beetle calamity.
Reforestation has two seasons. Spring: from March to the middle of May and autumn season: from September to November. On summer and winter we do other ecological activities in the forest. We work in Jeseníky mountains - wonderful natural reservation.
Volunteers all over the world come every year to work with us in the forest. We offer living in a tent camping or in a shared rooms in a house. We provide vegetarian food, communally cooked meals.
We organize lectures, courses, attend schools, publish books and textbooks on sustainable development issues. If you love trees and want to know how to take care of them, or you are interested in self-supply, we can share our knowledge with you.
Reforestation is a hard work. But also working in the forest is like a meditation: you begin to feel the rytmus of the nature, forest frequency, stop internal dialog, become calm and happy.
We are dedicated to the promotion of art and its presentation to the public. PagoPago operates the Gallery of Contemporary Art and Folk Art of the Olomouc Region and the traveling puppet theatre. All money earned from selling the pictures and sculptures are used for tree planting. We cooperate with artists and offer a place for working and living, while working on some art project. The gallery is situated in the historic family farm in the Tři Dvory 2 in Litovel.
We also try to associate people with the same interests, set up PagoPago's local affiliates, organize thematic evenings for the public, prepare school programs.

If you do not have tent and sleeping bag, please write us, we can rent them. We provide only vegetarian food, communally cooked meals.
You also can help us with repairing the house, cleaning and cooking.
