Survival in the Mountain Solidary Exchange

As a part of our work for the Andean Ecosystems, we will be teaching and learning to and from the Native People from la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta Gonawindwa - Colombia.

Join us in this great journey to the insides of the Mother to make a tribute for Nature and learning from the Native ways of working the land.


Some of the experiences you will be involved are:

Recovering fallen wood from the creek.

In this dimension we will be cutting wood perfectly at the creek to build useful structures, guided by a chainsaw mestizo master. Then all wood will be moved to base camp using Technologies and Knowledge from the Mountain.

Stablishing a Bambu Plantation.

In this second dimension we will be gathering all our knowledge from both worlds to stablish a hectarea or two of a "Guadual" a Bambu Plantation along the creek.

Stablishing a Crop Plantation.

In this third dimension we will be gathering all our knowledge from both worlds to stablish a hectarea or two of Mountain crops that will start being harvested in seven months.

You will help us pass some Agroforestry and Permaculture Knowledge to a Youth Team of Native people who will take the learnings to their villages. And you will be also gain ancient wisdom teachings for working the land at the Mountains that have been passed on for thousands of years.


You will be enjoiying of Great Organic Ancestral Crops cooked in a traditional way by the Mum and simple mystical moments around the woodfire as well of great moments of conection with Mother Earth and Your own Escense.


The setting located at the insides of a Natural Sanctuary in The Sierra Nevada is 4.5 hours or 5km trekking away from the artisan, travellers and tourist hub of the
multidimentional Palomino. Colombia. (Most likely the India from South América in many senses.) 1.5 hours away drive from Santa Marta Airport.


During this 7 days exchange gathering, you will learn key practices of surviving in the mountains of the Andeas.

You will experience the tranquility of nature and the power of La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta Gonawindwa in Colombia, 5km inside a Pure Ancestral Sanctuary guardianed by the Native Kogui Families.


You will be staying at survival base camp located 5km up the basin of the Palomino River. In a 30ha Natural Sanctuary that holds amazing white sand river beaches and many pristine primary forest.


This is an exclusive gathering. It counts with only 4 places available.


Transportation between Santa Marta Airport to the base camp at Palomino Town in an specific timeframe and request is not included.

The cost of this exchange gathering is $145USD, all inclusive, for 3 nights/4 days Max.

The legendary Sierra Nevada has been revered as one of the most mysterious places of power by numerous native tribes for thousands of years.

We are very fortunate to make an incursion into the mountains and stay over. More details about the geographic information will be provided once your registration is received.


If you plan on flying, the nearest airport is Santa Marta, Colombia about a 1.5-hour drive from the base camp at town.

Assistance with Air travel is available upon request.


We provide transportation to the base camp at town. Please contact us to confirm you the best time to fly to Colombia. Contact us prior booking if you are considering this option.


If you are taking any medications and will not be able to stop taking them 2 weeks before the gathering starts, please contact us before registering.

If you have any kind of serious medical condition please also contact us before registering.


Natural Mozquito repellent, (We fortunately to be located at a different chill fresher weather on the tropics as being closer to the snowy peaks not many mozquitos are present, however a good natural mosquito repellent is a must.

Take it really serious! This second group of items are really basic. Without them you can not depart with us: Travel Insurance. Basic higiene items and survival utensils and eating utensils, great hiking shoes, long pants, flashlight and some extra lighting, camping equipment hammock or tent, mozquito net, candles, waterproof clothes container, gloves and personal First Aid.

* Machete. A Machete is part of your tribute. 5.00 USD machetes can be bought at town. The machete will remains at the Natives uses. (For native a machetes are not easy to get)

* Boots Serranas. This type of boot used by lower range region native are part of your tribute. The boots will remain at the Natives uses (For Native all resources are not easy to get)

Extra food treats. Gifts and tributes.
All offerings to native are highly encourage! we use part of the resources for bringing supplys to native families along our stay! (*All items taken up are revised prior departing from town)


Plastic, Canes, absolutely not comercial brands on clothes etc. Hats or clothes for Native. Alcohol, Drugs, Chermical Sun cream, anything can generate a significant impact to nature at that level.

All packaging and pollution brought up must to be taken down. Avoid taking all plastic or nonuseful stuff at the mountains.


Do not expose your skin to mozquitos bring long pants and long sleve shirts as well as good shoes for trekking! No body will entre to the mountains barefoot or without proper shoes and clothing.
