About.
Sustainable Bolivia is a non-profit community of 32 partner organizations based in Cochabamba, Bolivia. We work closely with the community of Cochabamba, connecting volunteers with locally run initiatives addressing a wide range of social issues; women's support and activism, homeless and working youth, medical care, human rights and environmental protection. We act as intermediary to these smaller projects and help facilitate volunteer placements in positions based on skills.
We established a mini-grant program - each volunteer is given $75 per month, giving volunteers an opportunity to fund a project, and strengthens the financial commitment of Sustainable Bolivia to its partner organizations. We also offer Spanish and Quechua classes, family home stay, private or shared accommodations, as well as a dynamic environment of international volunteers (and more).
