About.
Gondwana Sanctuary is an intentional community, and wildlife sanctuary. It is located in the sub-tropics, just north of Byron Bay near the most easterly point of mainland Australia. It is two kilometres from Tyagarah beach with to Cape Byron and Mt Wollumbin.
Gondwana has a quiet meditative energy, perfect for relaxing away from the stresses of the outside world.
Gondwana has a long history of successfully maintaining a harmonious balance between the individual and the community. For those interested, there are working bees, community meals, meditations, and ongoing landcare regeneration and other projects. f you are inspired by meditation, osho, vipassana, yoga, advaita, sustainable development, permaculture, bush regeneration, dance (ecstatic, 5 rhythms, contact), Watsu, gardening, yoga, ping-pong or pool, or just long walks on the beach, then you are likely to find some of the 50 people here who share your enthusiasm
