The Main room has a Queen bed, overlooking the pond
The Second bedroom is nicknamed The Sunroom. It looks out North to the willow-stream, sheep paddock and up to rolling green hills. It has a single bed, wonderful sofa, storage drawers and writing desk, and fire-style heater to sit around, all happy and sleepy on a crisp, cold day. Its a room that gets you focused on inspired writing, restorative yoga, and quiet, meaningful communication.
The third room is the kitchen/dining room, with a table for two, or four. It also looks out to the lake.
The kitchen is well-equipped and has basics supplied, including Japanese Macrobiotic condiments.
Farmer Bob has a lovely larder from which you can purchase amazing organic produce: Eggs, excellent beef, sausages, fruit and veggies and preserves.
There are hectares and hectares for you to wander, stretch and dream.
The bathroom has a bath, shower, vanity unit and seperate toilet.
Activities
You can spend the whole day hiking the hills, forests and river, and not want the day to end. There is also Horse-riding by arrangement with our lovely neighbour Anna. In summer we splash in the river, in winter we bathe in the long sunbeams. All year round we pick watercress from the streams for lovely lunches.
Mobile phone reception isn't great. Which can be wonderful, giving you a deep peace you may not have known for years.
There is also option of a house-share with Cecilia, for people who are looking for a permaculture learning experience. See our 'Experience' listing.
There are discounts offered for stays of over 4 days.

Magical river-run on horseback

Jul 28 - Jul 29, 2018
Food included
Anna is living her dream, sharing life and friendship with seven beautiful horses, every one of them their own person, with their own hopes and dreams.

Anna believe that when you learn how to partner with your horse, rather than dominate or use it, this awareness and skill will transform other parts of your life. Resistance drops away.

This 4 hour ride is suitable for beginners, all the way to people who are experienced with horses. Faster rides for more expert riders will be held in the spring, see other events.
Anna runs regular masterclasses with international teachers, including Carlos Tabernaberri from Argentina, author of 'Through the eyes of the horse'
